June 27, 2026: Celebration of the 250th Birthday of America

Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Joplin. This promises to be a fantastic day celebrating the 250th Birthday of our country. Our schedule of events is as follows:

• Doors open at 4 PM

  • Get a tour of our historic building

  • Free hot dogs and water

  • Music in the auditorium by the District Deputies

• 5:30 PM - 6 PM

  • Flag presentation and Pledge by the Heroes of '76 and the Sons of the American Revolution

  • Reading of the Declaration of Independence

• 6 PM - 7 PM

  • Full costumed presentation of "The Traitor Episode" that you don't want to miss.
