The Tea Room
Is often rented for receptions and formal gatherings. With the 20 foot ceiling and plush carpeting, the Tea Room is a perfect greeting area for up to 100 people.  Coat checks are available.
Entrance Hall Tea Room

The foyer and stairway in the Entrance Hall, is of Italian Renaissance Design. The chandeliers in the foyer are replicas of those which hang in the State Capitol building in Jefferson City. We encourage you to examine the beautiful stained glass windows as you ascend the stairway to the Auditorium.

A number of substantial improvements have been made to the Cathedral over the years following its construction. The elevator has been added as well as the Executive Secretary’s office and the Sovereign Grand Inspector General’s Conference Room on the first floor. The Library, the Writing Room and Tea Room have also been renovated.
The Auditorium
Seating is available on 2 levels for a total capacity of 385. In front of the seating is a fully functional Pipe organ.  The stage is equipped with state of the art sound system, backdrop scenery and lighting for added effects for your gathering. The acoustics in this room are second to none.

Auditorium Stage Area

The auditorium is where the degree work is conferred during Scottish Rite Reunions. Above and behind the wall where the organ is situated is the choir section located in an upstairs room.  Behind the wall to the north of the organ is the class room for Reunion Candidates and is also where Fellowship Lodge meets. Behind the south auditorium wall are the Auditorium and Wardrobe Committee Rooms and where monthly meetings of the four Body Lodges of the Scottish Rite, [The Lodge of Perfection, Chapter Rose Croix, Council Knights Kadosh and The Consistory], are held.

The auditorium is styled in the French Renaissance Period of architecture, formulated during the reign of Francis I, in the years 1520 to 1547, which is the most interesting and beautiful of the French Period. The special points of structural design in this period were a graceful and varied composition with a beauty of detail; and simple effective external designs and internal designs of slender pilasters and rich moldings.

The auditorium is 58 feet wide and 51 feet long on the main floor, while the balcony extends the length to about 70 feet. The height of the ceiling is approximately thirty feet..

The Dining Room
Seats up to 400 and still leaves room with a Bandstand for musicians and head table! The full commercial kitchen attached to this hall is available for your caterer as well.  Commercial ovens, food warmers, refrigeration and dishwashers round out the services available.
